I randomly decided to stop in Cartagena & chose to stay here which turned out to be the perfect location for walking around the neighborhood. I had a late arrival & unfortunately all the hotel parking was booked but Francisco was very helpful & offered me an alternative parking solution for the same cost. My first room was musty smelling & had some mold issues. I asked for a change because I already had a migraine from dental work the day prior & Francisco gave me an even better room looking out across at the local sites. I checked out in the morning, had my luggage stored while I walked around to see the city, before returning to leave in the afternoon. It’s a decent stay for the cost. They also have a restaurant in the hotel where I had a fabulous dinner. I would stay here again for the way I was treated & the cost was economical! I checked out prior to leaving so I could store my luggage & explore the city. When I returned I got my car from the parking garage & returned the key pass to them.

We always enjoy our visits to the Hotel Los Habaneros. It has style, elegance and is in such a fantastic central location. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming and cannot be more helpful. We have enjoyed several amazing meals in the restaurant and during this last visit had a great buffet breakfast, a real “steal”😘at €10 per person which was incredible for the amount of food and drinks on offer!!!!!!! We didn’t need to eat again until supper time. I just think 🤔 that this wonderful hotel should be elevated in it’s ratings. Thank you so very much for all your service over the last 19 years and we hope to enjoy your company and services for many more years to come. Kind regards, Lesley Shepherd

The hotel is well located for wandering around the sights of Cartagena. We had a great room at the front of the hotel, no road noise due to the double glazing. The aircon was good and not noisy, decent WiFi and a fridge. Everything was clean. Very comfortable bed. We tried the lunch menu in the cafetería after reading good reviews on here. It was delicious and excellent value for money. Gentleman on reception was friendly and helpful. Free parking nearby and a very short walk from the train station and bus station. We will definitely stay again.

Restaurant was great, whether for eating outside, inside or just getting a coffee to go. Staff was very friendly, in restaurant, front-desk and cleaning. Room & bathroom were cleaned daily. Solid walls - little noise from neighbors., and A/C worked fine. Good location, just a few blocks from train and bus stations. Also right across the street from from the Punic Walls Museum and pleasant 10-min walk down to the town center, passing several key sites along the way, including the Roman Theater.

Location was great. Just 10mins stroll to the central square. Historic sites were easily walkable. Very good breakfast & great coffee. We had 2 single rooms on the first floor which were fine. Staff in reception & dining room very helpful. We stayed 7 nights half-board & with a limited menu it got repetitive, however the food was very good. There was always space in the car park for a daily charge. Overall excellent stay. many thanks.
